ESOL qualifications gives Learners to competence and confidence to use their English skills in their studies and employment and other areas of their life. The ESOL course develops English language knowledge and skills, achieve a national recognised qualification, develop personal growth engagement and learning.
The qualification has been developed to have an increased level of basic English literacy in everyday life, education and employment. ESOL is based on a adult core curriculum and national standards for adult literacy.
MCHE have highly qualified tutoring staff to teach ESOL and will ensure that all Learners are given proper training and skills to achieve the ESOL Language Qualification. MCHE offers ESOL in three parts.
Each level of the qualification comprises of three units
• Reading
• Writing
• Speaking and Listening
Learners who achieve the ESOL Award Certificate or Skills for Life may proceed to GCSE English Language or other English Language qualifications to support their employment
There is no basic entry requirement.
All ESOL qualifications are individually assessed by an externally set paper based test or task
